Why do you think 'smooth talkers' always have their way and 'hard workers' lag behind ? It is because 'smooth talkers' have the ability to market themselves in the right manner. Even though they might not be as skilled as the 'hardworkers', they know how to expose their talent and abilities to people.

Once i was told by my boss Kartik Raichura when i was working with him at Management Paradise that-" You are nothing but what others think you are. If they think you are a genius, then hell ! You are a genius." How true is this statement !! Perception of people matter a lot. If one person think you have got great talent, he might tell this to a few other people as well. This way people make a perception about you which is lasting and works to your adavantage.

Always try to show good things about yourself to people around you. Expressing yourself and your talent is true self marketing. By mastering this art, you can reach to great heights.
